Juno is a mini diner in Bushwick with a knack for modern American eats and craft cocktails. Juno Chefs use only the freshest ingredients available and source their produce from local New York State farms.
I always judge a diner by how good their burger is (amongst other things, of course), and I must say that Juno's burger is both juicy and flavorful. You can literally taste the melted cheddar in the pattie while taking every bite of this delicious burger. The burger itself comes topped with a pickle slice alongside hand-cut fries that are finely salted to perfection. It goes without saying, this burger is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a good burger in Bushwick.
Next up are my favorite appetizers, an absolute "must try", which are the beautiful plump jumbo shrimp and chicken skewers; complimented with flame grilled red and green bell peppers. The dish also comes with some yellow rice and some pita bread.
On Sundays, this lovely diner turns into a fun brunch spot from 11 am to 4 pm (worth it!!). The staff is amazing and the music is on point. Juno also offers hookah for $20, with some exotic, rich, and creamy flavors. As if this place wasn't cool enough.
Juno also has bottomless mimosas for $45 per person or the option of a prefixed brunch menu that includes the bottomless mimosas package as well. The brunch menu has some fun and interesting names like Slob on my grits, 6ix9ine or Bickenhead & Waffles which are very popular items on the menu. Of course, if your feeling like you want something simple, nostalgic, and filling you always have the option of classic scrambled eggs, toasted fresh bread, home fries, and some mixed greens.
If mimosas are not your cup of tea, why not try Juno's popular boozy cocktails that are named after famous celebrities such as Beyonce & Jay-Z.
Blue Ivy long island ice tea
The cocktails have names such as Drunk in Love which is a watermelon infused mojito cocktail, or even Bey & Jay, the boozy drink is an interesting and tasty version of a sidecar. My personal favorite is Blu Ivy! , which is similar to a classic Blue Long Island Ice Tea.As far as Bushwick diners go, Juno is a cut above the rest for sure, and worth checking out at least once while you are in the neighborhood and looking for a good quality tasty meal; I do suggest getting there at a reasonable time, due to their "first come first serve policy". Enjoy! :)
