FASHION WEEK SS18 FAVORITES

There’s no doubt that diversity in NYFW this year. The prints were striking, but the more solid items are what structurally stood out. Bold colors and innovated textures. SS18 will be a don of new fashion era. People are ready to step out the box and be Unique!

Here are some of our favorite looks and fashion forecast for Spring 2018

Badgley Mischka: Elegant Head Bit*h In Charge

You can defiantly see James Mischka was propelled by his textures this season, “Our inspiration is an American girl going to Capri for the first time,” Badgley said backstage before the show to vogue “Hopefully, it’s her dream of Capri.” As Mischka underscored, it is a full lifestyle collection. “From when she gets up in the morning, goes to the beach, swimsuits, a lot of day clothes,” he said, before Badgley chimed in: “From breakfast to ball gown.” This whole season gives me Breakfast at Tiffanys/ HBIC  vibes.

The Alice + Olivia: Classic Lady

The Alice + Olivia presentation with the bohemian patchwork and neon floral dresses are really out to play this season. Her young Glam squad help her achieved this Pastel princess dream. There were sets designed by Lola Schnabel, Lucy Sparrow, Jemima Kirke, Francesca DiMattio, and Angelica Hicks. Scout Willis was on hand to sing acoustic in what Bendet called “the music room.” For this space, she even brought in an original piano from the Chelsea, one scrawled with the words Sid Was Here on the rack. This one my favorite shows so far. Practical edgy classic fashion.

3.1 Phillip Lim: Level Up

Basic but BOLD statement looks, Phillip Lim aims to please your fashion taste buds. He kept it simple, the show opened with a look that seemed primed for a no-nonsense. With its amazing silhouette and cross-body tie, the new 3.1 satchel had a cool, downplayed vibe that was a reviving takeoff from the exceptionally unrealistic smaller than expected totes and gaudy logo bags that have ruled the runways for as long as few seasons.

THE ROW: Uniique Favorite!

Save the best for last ! The Row, never thought I would be so in love Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen and their fashion sense. This is my current favorite. Coats for days, with three-quarter-length sleeves, Floor length and sometimes with a dramatic off-the-shoulder collar. A belted duster in a crinkled, laminated gray material was a standout.
